Parking is limited in West Potomac Park. However, there are three parking lots (Lots A, B and C). The lots close at 6:30 a.m. on race day and reopen after the race. Parking can also be found on side streets north of Constitution Ave NW between 18th & 23rd Streets NW.
Metro doesn’t start operating until 7:00a.m. on weekends and that doesn’t give enough time for participants in the outlying suburbs to get to the race by 8:00a.m. Please consider having someone drop you off at 23rd and Constitution Avenue before the race and you could then ride metro home.
Foggy Bottom/GWU on the Orange and Blue Lines is the closest Metro stop to the event. The location of the stop is 23rd & H Streets, NW. To get to the race site by metro, walk south along 23rd St. passing the State Department and the Lincoln Memorial. Look south to the Potomac River and the staging area for the event is the park adjacent to the river.
